As-needed employment opportunities are open to the general public. Individuals hired into these positions work less than 1,000 hours per Fiscal Year and do not receive benefits. The following part-time positions are available in the Santa Clara Police Department: 

Adult Crossing Guard (as-needed)

Per Diem Public Safety Dispatcher (as-needed)

Per Diem Police Officer - Special Events (as-needed)
